Is a mechanic going to be free today at the last minute? Then moving to Frustration. And so on, slowly working their way up the scale. Maybe now they can invoke feelings of Discouragement, or Blame then sit with those emotions until really feeling it then release. Then release that emotion and climb higher. Stay there for a while until really feeling that emotion. The person can then spend time sitting with Guilt or Jealousy, invoking thoughts that create the emotional feeling of Guilt or Jealousy. Given they are already sitting with the emotion of Powerlessness and could have been for a while now the next emotion they could reach for might be Guilt, or Jealousy. To use this scale as a helping tool, what a person can do is slowly work their way up this scale, using each emotion as a stepping stone to a higher vibrational state of being. Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/PowerlessnessĪs you can see, if someone is currently feeling Powerlessness – it would be an enormous jump to try to feel Optimism. Joy/Appreciation/Empowered/Freedom/LoveĢ2. But of course, anything and everything is reachable eventually.Ībraham Hicks has a wonderful tool for guidance, called the Emotional Guidance Scale:ġ. So to expect yourself, or another, to just ‘jump’ from bottom to top, is both unrealistic and out of reach. It would be like trying to marry up the two same ends of a magnet. It is a vibrational impossibility to launch from such a low vibration, to suddenly one of a very high vibration especially if that person has been living in such a low level of thought and emotion for a long period of time. Sadness or grief vibrate at a level much, much lower than that of bliss or joy. When you were in a space of negative emotion, of any kind, did you feel irritated when you heard this? That is because each of you were on two totally different levels of vibration and couldn’t ‘meet’ each other vibrationally.įor many, when in such very low states of vibration and frame of mind (and I have been there myself, at the lowest of lows) the distance between how you are feeling right now, compared to how you wish to feel, is simply too far away.Īll thoughts and emotions are of their own unique vibration.
